This is a reference for Hannah Marie Schütt
-Discussion of the understanding and qualitative aspects of youth participation in the Erasmus+ program
-Presentation of funding opportunities in youth participation projects in Erasmus+ Youth,
-Step-by-step support in developing their project idea (using common project management methods)
-Participants may take their own project ideas with them to work on actively,
-Getting to know supporting material (Participation Pool, Tool Kit Participation, Youth Participation Strategy),
-Identify links to the EU Youth Strategy, the European Youth Goals and the EU Youth Dialogue
The target group were young people (aged 18 and over), youth organizations and youth workers. But also representatives of organizations from the fields of administration, politics, youth work, research, child and youth welfare and other institutions that want to be active in the field of youth participation. The Training was international but in German language. Due to that the team consisted of one trainer from Austria and one from Germany. The participants were from Germany, Austria and Poland.
The methodology was based on the principles of non-formal education. We used individual and group methods for developing a project idea. It was enriched with group brainstorming, facilitated discussions, practical examples of Youth Participation Activities, simulation games, multimedia presentations and team activities.
The participants developed their own plan for a Youth Participation Activity. The ideas and project plans which were developed within the training reflect the training success.
Together with another trainer from Austria we developed and implemented the whole concept of the Training Course.
I highly recommend Hannah for her great work in co-leading the "Project Lab for Youth Participation Activities" training. Her expertise, enthusiasm, and engaging approach made the project lab both informative and inspiring. Her dedication is to empower young people to take action within the Erasmus+ and ESC programme.
