Aims & objectives

PIE+ is a Strategic partnership project financed by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ programme. The programme is managed in Sweden by Myndigheten för Ungdoms- och Civilsamhällets Frågor. The project will be implemented between November 2015 – July 2017.
The aim of the project is to develop the quality and competence in writing and management of the KA2 projects and more.
The objectives of the training courses are:
Reflect upon the process of project management and the benefits of managing projects with the help of dedicated instruments;
Explore the quality elements and project management needs of more complex projects (including more than one international mobility);
Get familiar with and learn to use the project management instruments developed in PIE+;
Test the presented instruments;
Network with project managers and organizations working and interested in working with more complex projects;
Create a framework for sharing of good practices and peer learning related with project implementation, monitoring and reporting.

34 participants working with multimeasure KA1 and/or KA2 projects:
- 3 from Cyprus
- 4 from Greece
- 5 from Sweden
- 4 from Italy
- 7 from Romania
- 3(4) from France
- 7 from Spain

Training methods used & main activities

Brainstorming, presentations, testing of tools, group work, energizers, coffee stations, learning tickets etc

Outcomes of the activity

32 persons trained on specific templates.
7 projects to be.
25 participants organizing and reporting follow-up dissemination events about the tools that were presented to them

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Preparation and facilitation of the TC
Designing the structure of the TC as well as activities and methods used during the training;
Preparing training materials and literature;
Facilitating the TC;
Reporting the TC.

Practicalities
Preparing the infopack and the FAQ document,
Reporting of the costs incurred and of the training course;
Monitoring the implementation of the follow-up dissemination events.

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
