The training course consisted of youth workers from Portugal, Latvia, Romania, Poland, Germany, Spain, and Bulgaria.
We used interactive, non-formal, and experiential methods for the training course, such as debates, theater, simulations, designing of activities and group discussions.
The participants created and tested their activities to raise awareness of the issues of migrants and refugees in their organisations and with their target groups. They also worked on developing strategies and further projects that tackle the challenges of the topic.
I was the main trainer, responsible for the schedule of the training course and the delivery of most of the sessions.
We were lucky to have Ioanna as our trainer. She is professional, very experienced and empathetic. We hope to work with her again!
