Promote volunteer entrepreneurship and initiatives to execute during a trip to Saints Petersburg using available resources and tools
• Create plans for realization of volunteer initiatives in Russia, Saints Petersburg
• Strengthen volunteer communication

• Motivate volunteers to try and fail, gaining precious experience
• Promote creative thinking to approach situations and challenges
Team: 2 trainers from Latvia
Group: 13 volunteers from Germany, Spain, Romania, France, Georgia, Russia.
Getting to know each other:
• Chaotically moving in the space, shaking hands and answering preset questions
• Personal coat-of-arms creation w/ values, motto etc.
Expectations:
• a bus of expectations connected to going to Russia (reflection + open discussion)
Idea generation:
• Individual - pair – setting goals and choosing topics
• Groupwork – choosing target audience, defining activities
Resource research:
• Guided groupwork – assessing needed resources, creating a draft of the initiative
Budgeting:
• Guided groupwork – creating a budget
Finance options:
• Input – cross-border initiative budgeting options
• Group work – fundraising steps
Risk assessment:
• Guided groupwork – plan and steps and B plans for realization of initiatives
Evaluation:
• Body-representation of different aspects of the activity
• Questionaires
4 great ideas for initiatives with redundancy options, realistic budgets and divided responsibilities.
Deepened communication among international volunteers in Latvia.
Developed skills: creativity, needs assesment, budgeting and planning, risk assessment.
P.S. a shame the activity was followed by Russia's involvement in the events in Ukraine in 2014. The initiatives were scrapped due to participants' attitude towards the crysis.
