Aims & objectives

- To kick-off and dive into the topic of digital transformation
- To get to know each other before coming together in a residential training course
- To discover how tools and non-formal education methods can be applied in online environments
- To explore expectations, needs and contributions regarding the topic and training
- To support and motivate participants to use online spaces within their youth work practise

Training methods used & main activities

The online training allowed for a first dive into the topic, for getting to know each other and for a better needs analysis of the target group which laid the foundations for an upcoming residential training programme. Non-formal education methods which are normally used in residential trainigs have been adapted to the online space.

- getting to know each other
- analysis of needs and expectations
- theoretical input and knowlegde about the topic of digital transformation
- rising motivation for a second training
- participants took home concrete methods and tools for active facilitation in online spaces

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I have been involved in developing an Open Badge system for recognition of learning achievements during the whole training course, program draft, and facilitating online sessions.

I worked on this training for 3 days days as a full time trainer.
