"Peace Messengers are Coming" seminar was devoted to the issue of human rights. 20 participants - SCI and its partner organisations' activists from all across Europe attended the event.
The aim of the seminar was to lay down fundamentals for the international SCI Peace and Human Rights Campaign. Therefore, the programme was divided into three thematic parts:
1) Achieving the same level of knowledge on human rights issue (this part included interactive workshops on human rights and two lectures by Mr. Milosz Czerniejewski, a graduate of the Helsinki Committee Human Rights Course, and prof. Roman Wieruszewski, member of the Human Rights Committee in Geneva),
2) Sharing experience in work on human rights issue; overview and evaluation of past and current SCI & partner organisations' activities in the field,
3) Planning the future Peace & Human Rights Campaign: common vision, aim, target group, actions, task division.
I was a prep-team member and a co-trainer, responsible for preparing and running the programme, as well as for compiling and editing the report.
