Peace Bridge

Aims & objectives

- to promote European citizenship’s values;
- to improve participants’ level of competence and knowledge in the field of human rights and youth work;
- to encourage active citizenship, inter-cultural dialogue, tolerance and social inclusion;
- to promote mobility and capacity building;
- to develop new contacts in Sweden that will provide a strategic ground for long-term partnership and enhance further
cooperation.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

21 people from Georgia, Hungary, Moldova, Sweden, and Ukraine.

Training methods used & main activities

Project management based on needs analyses;
group communication from theory to practice;
conflict management based on analyses of Marichka's story (own version of Abigail's story method);
energizers including peace-building theory;
evaluation session "Peace Bridge" on the bridge.

Outcomes of the activity

New project ideas;
strengthened cooperation with the institutions involved;
close cooperation between 2 partner organizations from Sweden;
EVS from Transnistrian SO in Swedish HO.

Preparing methodology and leading workshops;
preparing other members of the organizers' team
