To introduce, analyse and practice conflict theory and conflict resolution I used Non-Formal Learning methods. Several rounds of role-playing took place for participants to reflect on their own behaviour, and to understand different points of view in a conflict. Role-playing was also crucial for practicing conflict resolution methods, in fictional situations or in existing conflicts experienced by the participants.
Theoretical notions on confict theories and resolution methods were introduced using brainstorms, group work and presentations.
The participants further developed the argumentation cards project, started in the activity Pact for Impact I: Communication & Action. The cards are short theoretical summaries containing bite-sized knowledge of the topics covered in each activity. The cards will be finalised and published after the third activity of the cycle in late 2025.
