Aims & objectives

Organised to support and coach newcomers who would like to organise their first youth exchange in frame of Erasmus+ programme.
Objectives of the training:
•To understand the idea, basic rules, quality criteria of Youth Exchanges
•To develop project ideas with partners and to be able to transfer it into the application form
•To know how to create the first Youth Exchanges partnership
•To be ready to organise a Youth Exchanges project

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The training was dedicated to all those who:
• are residents of Czech Republic, Poland or Slovakia,
• are 18+,
• have no experience in organising Youth exchanges in either Youth in Action or Erasmus+ Programme (but could have experienced Youth Exchange as a participant)
• are looking for partners for common project/s,
• are members of a non-formal group/organization,
• are able to communicate in English,
• are ready to take part in the whole training,
• are motivated to organise their own projects,
• are in the position to implement projects proposals in their groups/organisations after the training.

Various non-formal education methods
After the training course participants were offered support and coaching in the phase of project preparation.

Outcomes of the activity

After the training activity participants were able to/ reached following results:
1. To understand the idea and aim of Youth Exchanges
2. To get to know formal and quality criteria of Youth Exchanges
3. To understand the project management in Youth Exchanges
4. To develop project ideas with partners
5. To be ready for Youth Exchanges

Full time trainer, responsible for preparation, implementation and evaluation of the event

I worked on this training for 4 days as a full time trainer.
