Aims & objectives

The Online Sprint was a hands-on personal and professional development program based on human-centred design methodologies for solving complex problems of social impact. The program aimed to support young people in the development of their social impact careers at the same time as we impacted an existing social impact organisation. We partnered with an organisational called Endeleza to bring real-life social problems of a community in Kenya to make the program multicultural and address real issues of a non-profit organisation.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The group was composed of young professionals that signed up individually for the program (based in Brazil) and team members of the supported non-profit organisation (based in Kenya).

Training methods used & main activities

The journey was designed based on Human-centred design methodologies.

Outcomes of the activity

We carried out an impact-assessment through an evaluation form at the end of the program and we could see significant improvement in people's understanding and proactivity to tackle complex problems, mainly on a personal level and community level.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was a co-designer of the whole journey and I was mostly responsible for the phases where the main focus was on people engagement and facilitation of group-sense creation.

I worked on this training for 6 weeks days as a full time trainer.
