organised by National Agency ESC (Narodowa Agencja EKS), Poland

Aims & objectives

Aims & objectives
- to help volunteers to understand their situation and act appropriate in a new project and a new culture,
- to empower volunteers to deal with stress, difficult situations, conflicts and crisis situations,
- to support volunteers planning and reflecting their own learning process/progress

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Young people between 18 and 30 coming from programme and partner countries

Training methods used & main activities

On-Arrival and Mid-Term Meetings are carried out on- and offline. Methods used: simulations, exercises, creative approaches (artistic and theatre work), small group discussions, visits, working with images (pictures/video), research, digital tools (images, video cration, kahoot, padlet, ...) and many more...

Outcomes of the activity

One of the most important outcomes is a change. Instead of waiting that something is happening, volunteers take more initiative and ownership over their actions and their learning process. This is something that enables people to grow and undergo enormous personal changes.
