in Kastoria, Greece

Aims & objectives

A NetWork Meeting is an AEGEE event, where members of the organization meet and share good practices from their local AEGEE groups, develop skills to better serve their local group, have a follow-up of Agora (General Assembly) preceding the meeting, be active members of the organization and fulfil its goals.
The objectives of NWM Kastoria were:

- Sharing best practices
- Agora Follow up
- Definition of training and learning processes in AEGEE
- Action Agenda and EQAC: how to organise quality events, increase their impact and still have fun
- Open Space Technology

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

14 participants (AEGEE members) from 3 different nationalities (EL, IT, ES), active members of their local AEGEE groups.

Training methods used & main activities

The participants learned through games and participatory, interactive activities, following the NFE methodology, provided by a team of 3 trainers from different nationalities (EL, RO), with the support of the Academy (the pool of trainers of AEGEE) and the Network Commission.

Outcomes of the activity

The training was highly successful, the participants gained a lot of useful knowledge on the topics addressed and were very satisfied with the training, as well as becoming good friends with each other.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was a full-time trainer in NWM Kastoria, responsible for the following sessions:
- 30 Years Anniversary/ AEGEE History
- Spreading EurOptimism
- Breaking Stereotypes
- ACT/EQAC Case Study

I worked on this training for 3 days as a full time trainer.
