A NetWork Meeting is an AEGEE event, where members of the organization meet and share good practices from their local AEGEE groups, develop skills to better serve their local group, have a follow-up of Agora (General Assembly) preceding the meeting, be active members of the organization and fulfil its goals.
The objectives of NWM Kastoria were:
- Sharing best practices
- Agora Follow up
- Definition of training and learning processes in AEGEE
- Action Agenda and EQAC: how to organise quality events, increase their impact and still have fun
- Open Space Technology
14 participants (AEGEE members) from 3 different nationalities (EL, IT, ES), active members of their local AEGEE groups.
The participants learned through games and participatory, interactive activities, following the NFE methodology, provided by a team of 3 trainers from different nationalities (EL, RO), with the support of the Academy (the pool of trainers of AEGEE) and the Network Commission.
The training was highly successful, the participants gained a lot of useful knowledge on the topics addressed and were very satisfied with the training, as well as becoming good friends with each other.
I was a full-time trainer in NWM Kastoria, responsible for the following sessions:
- 30 Years Anniversary/ AEGEE History
- Spreading EurOptimism
- Breaking Stereotypes
- ACT/EQAC Case Study
