Aims & objectives

The aim of TC was to support the organizations from all nordic countries Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Sweden to develop new placements of EVS for disadvantaged youngsters. The participants discovered EVS as a tool for youngsters with disability to include them into community and to test international experiences. At the same time they created the network of 16 SO and HO of EVS in all Nordic countries. We used a lot of participative methods, discussion, role playing, individual planning... Every participant made an action plan to create EVS project. My role was a trainer and the expert for disability field.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Participants from Norway, Sweden,Denmark, Finland and Iceland - mostly working with youngsters with disability, NA representatives

Participative games, debriefings, discussion, simulative games and role playing

Outcomes of the activity

Each participant made an action plan to create at least one small project to involve youngsters with disability to EVS
