Networking and Supporting Enviromental Work

Aims & objectives

The training activity aimed at developing the competences and inspiring youthworkers to implement environmental projects at a local level. Both NGOs involved in the project wished to raise the impact of their initiatives locally through synergies.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The group consisted of youthworkers permanently residing in Greece and Germany.

Training methods used & main activities

The methodology was based on experiential non-formal education and consisted of debates, study visits, exchange of good practices and developing new initiatives to match the needs of the community.

Outcomes of the activity

The project was successful as the participants were inspired to create environmental work. 18 local initiatives were designed to be implemented locally within a 3-month timeframe.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

My role was to facilitate the sessions on active citizenship, igniting youth-led projects, inspiring action and building trust.

I worked on this training for 4 days as a full time trainer.
