Aims & objectives

The training was mainly focused to assist educators with the speciality of knowing what are the basic digital tools and various ideas of how to support learners through a non formal education based activities to reach out to the educators and facilitate the progress to make the ideas more settled in their practice and to work collaboratively with others on sharing the good practices they know about the different tools and internet safety.

Participants got the chance to be exposed on the various digital tools that they can use for education as well as mind mapping and educational management techniques.

NGO Nest and the consortium of the project are constantly working with adults and education in the sense of delivering a constant support in the fields that requires interaction with youth and young adults, so it fitted their scope of ideas and work dealing with youth and adults in the same time.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The participants were from three countries:
1. Germany
2. Italy
3. Portugal

five participants were representing each country and organisation.

Adult learners were the final beneficiaries of the up-skilling of adult educators as they will be provided with better educational programmes, optimal teaching staff and last but not least, they were supported in building their professional identity, which is a fundamental step in the process of transition from education to entering the labour market.

Training methods used & main activities

The training was elaborated based on the educational needs of adult educators in terms of digital skills.
The International Training Course provided adult educators with specific digital skills that will enable them to deliver their teaching both in physical and virtual environments and will make their teaching content more interactive.

Outcomes of the activity

Trainer developed the module related to digital skills. The module was structured and tested in a 3 days
training and will cover the following aspects:
- Developing digital content;
- Creatively using digital technologies;
- Interacting through digital technologies.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

My Personal Tasks were taking care of the activities and management of the flow of the sessions and delivering the knowledge and facilitate the activities about.
- ICE Breakers and Team Buildings;
- What is NFE, FE, IF;
- Digital literacy and various digital tools for adult learners;
- increase competences necessary to carry out educational based activity with youth and adults using different various online tools.
- Erasmus Plus presentation and potential project ideas facilitation;
- creating a manual for digital literacy to be used with adult educators and learners.

All this were my responsibilities to make sure they understood the concepts and manage to transform the tips and theories into practice to share among themselves and get an outcome.

I worked on this training for 3 days as a full time trainer.
