Aims & objectives

My Favourite Mistake is a training course on developing a new approach towards learning from mistakes. We would like to create a training course based on the discovery of mistakes, sharing experiences in happily making mistakes together and reflect on how it's possible to learn from mistakes. We will also focus on how to accompany young people to be prepared in making mistakes and to face them as a learning moment, finding in mistakes not the reason for giving up but the motivation to keep trying.

Objectives of the training are:
• To reflect about mistakes, the role of mistakes in a learning process and our cultural perception towards mistakes.
• To explore a new approach of techniques and methodologies for learning from mistakes in a positive, constructive way.
• To create a comfortable and stimulating learning environment in which the effort and process counts more than the final result and in which making mistakes is perceived in its role of experiential learning.
• To explore how we can support young people we work with on dealing with mistakes for learning both in formal and non-formal settings
• To explore how mistakes are connected to different actions within the Erasmus+ programme.
