Aims & objectives

1. Acquire the skills needed to engage young people in positive activities using sports as a tool
2. Gain transferable skills that could be used to further career, employment opportunities and develop volunteering capacity
3. Learn tools needed to understand how to incorporate sports, citizenship and healthy life styles projects into everyday work with young people and the community
4. Positive integration of disadvantaged young people through sports

Youth workers and youth leaders from UK, Egypt, Lebanon, Spain and Turkey

Training methods used & main activities

Non Formal Methods and tools that included:
Workshops
Outdoor Games and Activities
Volunteering
Group Building and Ice Breakers

Outcomes of the activity

1. Potential Future Project Ideas by participants
2. Community day event for local community
3. Awareness as to Youth in Action program and the different actions under it

Bridging the gap between Social and Sports Organizations
Integration of disadvantaged young people through sports
EUROMED Youth program

I worked on this training for 9 days as a full time trainer.
