Mnemosine: Training of Trainers

Aims & objectives

Mnemosine was a KA2 Strategic Partnership for youth. The training was created to equip the trainers with the skills to support their local group. Their main needs where to tune-in to the goal of the project, discuss the main topics: Identity, Language and Cartography and have an exhibition in Malaga.
Through this training of the trainers, the main goal was to create synergies between organizations and youth by promoting a culture of creativity and experimentation.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The countries that participated where Austria, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Romania and Spain.

Training methods used & main activities

Through non-formal education activities that promote artistic and creative skills for young people, we want to increase the active youth participation. The activities were designed close to the goals and the art that was produced during the project was exhibited in an open exhibition in Malaga.

Outcomes of the activity

The training provided a deep understanding of the 3 topics (Identity, Language and Cartography) through experiential learning. The methodology was based in art and experimentation and the participants had the opportunity to set up their own art exhibition.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

My task was to connect the training to the local activities, facilitate activities of team-building and experiential evaluation.

I worked on this training for 4 days as a full time trainer.
