Mindful Inclusion - Connector 8.0

Aims & objectives

Connector aims to create a space and context where people involved in learning become familiar with different non-formal learning methods that can be used in various learning contexts. This learning event has focused on how to create a proper framework to gain competencies and abilities in 2023 – the European Year of Skills.

In the context of inclusion aim was to upskill teachers, professors, and youth leaders in using mindfulness-based inclusion approaches in their future activities/projects.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Practitioners from all educational sectors. We welcomed youth workers, adult education practitioners, trainers, learning facilitators, teachers, educators, and support staff, representatives coming from schools, higher education, adult education, and vocational training.

Training methods used & main activities

In this training we used non formal, experiential and self directed learning. Especially methods used are mindfulness-based inclusion approaches and integrative body oriented methods like movement, group work, reflection etc.
