Migration - reality and challenges

Aims & objectives

to facilitate the exchange of expertise on approaches to migration education in youth work, to train youth workers using education tools developed by IOM and UNHCR, to develop a youth campaign to raise awareness of migration issues, to promote further transnational learning mobility and networking between youth organizations in the EU and Western Balkans

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

38 participants from EU and programme countries, and all Balkan countries

Training methods used & main activities

Johari window, integration stages theatre, identity flag, Iceberg of culture, problem tree, story-telling circle, role-play "at the Migration Board", islands of loss - psychological challenge, group role-play/meditation inspired by M. Abramovich

New cooperations in Balkan region; a video clip on migration
