TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Anne Peeters
The mid-term evaluation allows participants to assess their experience up to that point and to reflect on the activities, role and support of the host organisation and on their own contribution.
The evaluation provides the opportunity to learn from everybody’s experience and enables the participants to plan developments and/or further improvements in their activity and to think about what they will do in the longer term, once their experience is over.
The evaluation should also raise awareness of the personal learning process, linking it to the key competences of the Youthpass.
Participants came from all across member countries of the European Solidarity Corps project, all over Europe and abroad.
The team consisted of two members of the TEC pool of trainers of Jint.
The program was co-created together with the participants with sessions like:
- Walk and talk with guiding questions about their experiences and learning process so far.
- Intervision and exchange about issues during their project.
- World café prepared by the Mid Termers in order to support the On Arrivals
The participants appreciated (written feedback) the method we used to co-create the program together. This made them feel heard. They exchanged a lot both with each other and with the volunteers that just arrived in Belgium and managed to support each other with their issues.
We prepared the program and the method for the co-creation together. During the mid term training we facilitated the learning process of the volunteers. We came - based on their needs - with different methods so that we could address their learning goals.
