Aims & objectives

Aims:
Selth-growth and Optimization of individual intercultural competence (process orientated) e.g. by reflecting on one's own assumptions of normality and action in relationships, being able to deal constructively and openly with
foreign and multilingual contexts/ unfamiliar patterns of thought and action/ unexpected events, being able to shape sustainable relationships and generate new culturality.

The training fits to the organisation's goals as the main interested is intercultural learning and self-development.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The target group were bachelor students of intercultural communication and personell development from Italy and Germany.

Simulation game with debriefings

Outcomes of the activity

The activity promoted the intercultural competence and self-awareness of the students. Success was controlled by feedback and further application of the learnings.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was the facilitator of the simulation game and was responsible for preparing, instructing, moderating and debriefing the sessions.

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.
