Aims & objectives

It was a pilot execution of a newly developed module called Media litearcy for global education developed by an international task force of 6 members for the North South Centre of the Council of Europe.

The pilot executions were set inside the framework of the training for youth multiplayers in Cascais, PT and the University of Youth and Development in Mollina, Spain)

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The task force (6 members), the training group (4 members) and the participants (28) were all international from accross the 46 member countries of the CoE.

Training methods used & main activities

Drama pedagogy, Expert inputs on Media literacy, Group work, Plenary disscusions.

Outcomes of the activity

The training tested out the pilot trainings developed by the task force that were than included in the published manual and in the further training plans of the NSC CoE on a sistemic level.

The training provided skils and expertise to youth multiplayers to implement trainings and workshops of the topic of Media Literacy for Global Education.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was member of the task force that developed the module and responsible to implement it inside the two trainings as an expert trainer.

I worked on this training for 4 days as a full time trainer.
