Massive Open Online Course on Digital Youth Work

organised by Network of Erasmus+ National Agencies
1st phase - 16 October-20 November 2020

Aims & objectives

To provide knowledge about digital youth work in Europe
To support the development of digital youth work by providing good practise examples and practical tools
To support the sharing of good practices of digital youth work

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

432 participants from 62 countries who started the course. 69 participants completed the final feedback and evaluation form.

2 facilitators from Lithuania cooperating with external experts from 4 European countries.

Training methods used & main activities

The first phase of MOOC on Digital Youth Work offered 4 modules that covered the following themes:

Module 1 - General introduction to digital youth work.
Module 2 - Digitalisation of society and impact on youth work.
Module 3 - Planning and designing digital youth work.
Module 4 - Information, data and media literacy in youth work.

Participants were offered animated vidoes on various topics of the course, good practice examples, discussion forums, quizzes, opportunities to contribute to shared knowledge, practical tools to develop digital youth work activities.
