This is a reference for Bára Rodi
Detailed overview of the project (in Czech:)) can be found on its webpage: https://sites.google.com/site/skolenimarker/
Aim: Rising quality of non-formal education in youth work in Slovakia and Czech Republic and rising competences of youth workers
Objectives:
- to understand a logic of creating educational activity
- be able to plan, realize and evaluate non-formal educational activities
- develop their competences when working with group (facilitation, group dynamics, presentation...)
- get competences with using different tools for DEOR (dissemination and exploitation of results)
- to understand new trends in rising quality of youth work and start using them in their practice
- get awareness about wider context of youth policy which youth work is part of
- to be able to use all acquired competences in participants practice
25 Participants were from Czech Republic and Slovakia and 5 team members as well.
Blended learning approach: combination of 3 residential meetings + online support and coaching + active experience of participants.
During the residential meetings we used various methods of NFE such as group work, role plays, lectures, discussions, simulations (e.g. needs assessment in the small city and then discussion of results with local policy makers) or "homeworks" which are the tasks between the residential trainings where participants apply what they learned in their practice in their organisations.
A thorough study of the impact was performed 6 months after, see the results here: https://issuu.com/anev_cz/docs/dlouhodob___dopad_marker_cs.
We measured impact through evaluation, but also long term contact with participants. Most of the participants not only changed their practice, but influenced also a quality of youth work in their organisations. That is why ANEV decided to run with some innovations also third run of this long term training in years 2016 - 2017.
