The training activity took place
in Järvenpää, Helsinki, Finland
organised by CIMO Finland and MUCF Sweden
2-4 November 2016

Aims & objectives

Making Waves aims to establish contacts and develop ideas for future cooperation of Baltic Sea Region countries within the EU Europe for Citizens Programme. Following the success of the previous events (2013 Stockholm, 2014 Tallinn and 2015 Vilnius) in creating international partnerships, Baltic Sea region’s contact making seminar “Making Waves” takes place for the fourth time, bringing together around 50 participants representing civil society organizations and public authorities from six countries: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden. The aim is to create partnership possibilities between participating organisations and provide in depth knowledge about Europe for Citizens Programme.

In order to support and develop new project partnerships, the participants of the seminar will get a better understanding of Europe for Citizens Programme’s funding opportunities and priorities, application process and criteria.
