LGBT: TOGETHER AGAINST DISCRIMINATION

Aims & objectives

Eight countries from EU and EECA, which is forty young people and youth workers from LGBT sector, which is huge diversity of experiences from different backgrounds and cultures, will be united with ONE theme: Non-Discrimination Based on Sexual Orientation. This course is about human rights protection in practice, real freedom of self-expression, about changing attitudes and taking action in order to achieve equality. The project aims to empower LGBT youth to take an active role in their communities in fighting homophobia and discrimination , enhance the social inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities and promote tolerance as a part of lifestyle.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Representative of 8 country participate in this TC: Georgia, Czech Republic, Moldova, Romania, Italy, Spain and Portugal

Training methods used & main activities

The training course is implemented through non-formal education: ice-breakers, role plays, a group discussion activity, outdoor activities, work in thematic groups, workshops, meetings with local NGO, culture evenings, evaluation, preparation of follow up and outcomes.

Outcomes of the activity

During seven days of TC trainer of this project provide a platform for discussion and exchange of good practice, learning opportunities for the participants, stimulate creativity through non-formal and informal learning.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

To prepare all task and work shop with other trainer and organizer.

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
