Aims & objectives

The aim of the training course is to explore deeper the process of the forced migration, which plays a very big role in each society, affecting the young people in many areas as employability, integration, understanding, social dialogue etc.

The objectives of the training course are:

-exchange of experiences and good practices related to the process of migration
-training of youth workers and leaders in adressing challenges resulted from migration in the society as whole
-raising of competences of the youth workers and leaders in prevention of the negative effects of the migration, as marginalisation, exclusion, unemployment etc.
-facing the situation of the migration process in our countries
-development of new projects and initiatives for integrration of refugees and migrants, with special point of the Erasmus+ program

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Participating countries: Germany, Slovenia, Palestina, Greece, Armenia, Georgia

Target group: youth workers, facilitators, project managers working with migrants and refugees

Training methods used & main activities

In this training were used the following NFE methods:
- energizers, ice breakers, name games
- Role play games
- Simulations
- Interactive presentations
- Fish bowl / World Cafe - methods for exploring terms
- Theater of the oppressed
- School of Freedom
- Loesje creative writing
- Study cases
- Interactive presentations
- Disscussions and debates

Outcomes of the activity

The participants in this trainng :
- bacame aware about the realities with refugee crises in the other countries
- exchanged expriences and good practices from their daily work
- learn new tools and methods for inclusion of migrants and refugees
- visited the refugee camp in Gevgelija and spent a day with the refugees there
- developed digital and ICT skills
- improved civic skills, as tolerance, work in a multicultural group, taking initiatives
- created Loesje posters

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

My tasks in this project were:
- preparation of the application
- participants coordination
- preparation of the program
- full time trainer
- monitoring the dissemination
- monitoring the campaign
- preparation of the final report

I worked on this training for 8 days as a full time trainer.
