in Gaziantep TURKEY

Aims & objectives

The project has been held in Gaziantep Turkey on 2-10 July 2013, 8 days and with participation from the following countries: UK, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Turkey and Romania.
This training course focused on sharing experiences, methods and good practices using video and theatre to analysis unemployement. The primary focus of the training was to study the actual work situation in Europe and the main common problematic in the different countries and if/how we can create solutions to unemployement. The project supported youth workers offering them programmes made of a wide range of activities and workshops in which they improve their skills, team building knowledge, reflect in groups, prepare in a small team a topical and practical presentation, expand their knowledge about other cultures and how to use video and theatre as a tool for youth work. The activities gave the possibility to the participants to share and create new practices and plan how to transfer these concepts. Non formal education has been used during the whole activity.
As outcomes of this project we recorded videos, photos and create drama performances and as a final event of our presentation, we implemented a final show open to public. During the project participants explored some other problems related the youth work and unemployement and come up with new project ideas.
