TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Milosz Baldyga
The project had the following objectives:
- to train youth workers in the topic of intercultural learning
- to develop participants' cultural awareness
- to develop soft competences among participants
- to promote intercultural dialogue
- to promote values such as tolerance, solidarity and respect for human rights
- to spread the methods of non-formal education as a tool that better prepares young people for the realities of modern Europe
The target group of the activity were 30 youth workers coming from 7 different countries: Greece, Italy, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Spain
The whole project was based on non-formal learning methods.
Approaches: Learning through challenges, holistic approach, experiential learning, diversified education, personal contribution and responsibility for education.

- cultural presentations organised by the participants
- daily reflections
- final evaluation
The youth workers taking part in this training have successfully designed (under supervision of the trainers) and implemented interactive, non-formal workshops for the other participants of the training, raising their awareness about stereotypes and ways of dealing with them.
My responsibilities were:
- to lead at least two sessions every day (topics: stereotypes, team building, interpersonal communication, collaboration)
- to support other trainers in preparation of materials and delivering activities
- to lead every-day reflection groups
- to supervise the working groups and support them in the process of workshop designing and facilitation
