Training Course aims to prepare the leaders for voluntary projects and workcamps, to increase awareness about culturally sensitive issues and human rights in voluntary projects. During the training the special focus will be done to conflict transformation and leadership in a multinational group.
In the frame of the training course following topics will be touched:
• intercultural learning;
• Human Rights
• leadership in multi-cultural, multi-national groups;
• team-building;
• group dynamic,
• decision-making and conflict transformation;
• key constituents of the intercultural dialogue;
• non-formal education;
• tolerance and peace-building;
• promotion of European solidarity and cooperation;
• efficient communication in a group
There were 25 participants from 16 countries and 5 members of the team from Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and Armenia.
Non-formal and non-frontal;
The methodology used in the training is based on
non-formal education approaches and will be
implemented in the following methods:
-Exploring of the informational resources and tools
on implementation of ICD and HR organized in a
format of treasure hunting and small group work
-Case-studies to inspire participants and to show
which achievements are possible in the youth work
-Brainstorms and discussions to find as much as
possible ways of practical implementation of ICD
and HR
-A short-term international voluntary event to
practice developed competences in the real life
(for the community of Nizhniy Novgorod region)
-Appreciative inquiry technique to identify a
potential of youth voluntary projects in ICD and
HR
- Workshops and organizational fair to exchange
experience among participants
-Dreaming rooms and project planning techniques
to create follow-up projects for the period of
summer-autumn 2012
as a follow-up, each participant
will realize at least one initiative related with ICD
and HR development during summer-autumn 2012
