TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Olalla Gonzalez
The aim of the project is to increase the level of quality of international youth exchanges through developing youth leader/youth worker competence set for being a group leader and be involved in the whole project cycle.
The target group were youth workers and youth leaders who have not yet been in a group leader's position at youth exchanges. The group was composed of 24 participants from 7 European countries.
The training was based on non-formal education methods and we used: team-building activities, case studies, theatrical sketches, tests and personal assessment inventories, simulation games, group debates and other methods.
The training resulted in developing a set of guidelines for group leaders and a manual for group leaders to prepare and implement youth exchanges with the groups of youth.
I was part of the team as a graphic facilitator/recorder in charge of developing an identity for the training on the spot; create visual daily summaries based on the program's sessions and group dynamics; support trainers with development of visual versions of the content pass on to participants; design and formatting of project result (Group Leader's Manual).
