Aims & objectives

"KickStart" aims to ensure the proper environment for building solid partnerships for future youth projects in Erasmus+.
Objectives:
- to develop strong Erasmus+ projects focused at enhancing competences of youth and youthworkers
- to ensure the proper environment for kick-starting long term partnerships amongst youth organizations and youth workers
- to provide the adequate setting for sharing experience and ideas of common interest
- to explore common needs and solutions offered by Erasmus+ for youth projects

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

During the 5 days of activities 20 youth workers from Norway, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Cyprus, Poland, Latvia, Portugal and UK were part of a common setting for building strong partnerships, take part in various workshops, presentations, visits, round-table discussions and establish grounds for future youth projects.

Training methods used & main activities

Based on non formal education tools and methods, participants underwent a complete process of identifying potential partners, establishing common grounds for future projects and increase quality aspects in their youth work. During the activity, participants were involved in different work sessions using Roleplay, presentation, simulation and case study sessions, but also using handcraft as a learning element.

Outcomes of the activity

The activity supported quality work in Erasmus+ for 9 different organizations active in the youth filed in various or multiple sectors.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I have been the main facilitator/trianer in this activity alongside Harald Rongved, cognitive skills specialist of ALF as.

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
