Aims & objectives

This training course was aimed at people, who wished to improve their knowledge on the topic – Conflict Resolution. This topic is an important one when it comes to Youth Work as well as any type of social work.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Countries involved were: Poland, Estonia, Austria, Malta, Lithuania, Italy, Turkey and the Czech Republic.

The team was composed of Polish and Austrian trainers

Training methods used & main activities

The Albatross and Abigail methods, specified for the participant group to create conflicts, due to the topic of the training.

Simulation games for dealing with bullies, stressful situations and mediations.

Talks, discussions, and debates on the topic itself as well as a part of the reflections and conscious learning.

Outcomes of the activity

The training course was a success as a number of participants decided to use (and share it with us) the methods and strategies learned here.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

My role was as a co-trainer. I was responsible for doing teambuilding activities as well as part of the on-topic workshops such as the Abilgail and Albatross methods, along with simulations on different types of conflicts and finding solutions to them.

I worked on this training for 8 days as a full time trainer.
