TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Vika Matuzaite
The main aim of this training was to support youth exchange applicants to increase main quality aspects in various phases of the project.
We invited inviting representatives, young people who are actively involved in planning a youth exchange project. In the training course we are expecting up to 30 participants from Programme countries and Eastern Partnership countries. To encourage participation of young people during the selection process priority will be given to them.
The approach of this TC is based on a combination of inputs and practice to let participants put hands on real experiences – explore problem solving, share advice, deal with issues which really matter. There are many quality criteria when it comes to the Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges, this training course will concentrate on certain aspects that most of applicants are struggling with: youth participation, equal partnership, dimension of non-formal learning, intercultural learning, Youthpass process, seeing the whole project as a long-term learning process and dealing with possible risks.
Numeral outcome - 2 new group applications submitted. Other then that, together with the group with have focused on youth participation, equal partnership, dimension of non-formal learning, intercultural learning, Youthpass process, seeing the whole project as a long-term learning process and dealing with possible risks through theory and practice. Plus an overarching group process that brough personal development dimension and has shown a possible dynamic of a youth based NFE activity.
I worked as a full time trainer, designing the overall programme, choosing specific methods and adapting them to the needs of the group throughout the whole TC.
Vika is a professional trainer with a relevant experience in the youth field. Her program management skills, development of ideas as well as calm, cheerful and supporting attitude are perfectly suited for work both with youth and youth workers. She is sensible to people of different backgrounds and perfectly moderates discussions of challenging topics. For training organisers' it is easy to work with her. Highly recommended.
