Job Up

Aims & objectives

"JobUp" is a Training course that taked place in the town of Geraci Siculo, in the province of Palermo from the 8th until the 13th of June 2015.
The project aim of "JobUp" is to make youth workers aware about the challenges of youth unemployment at national and International level, in order them useful tools which could be used to react to unemployment while working with young generations.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

It involved 30 participants, coming from 7 different countries: Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania, Portugal and Greece.

Training methods used & main activities

Through non formal methods, JobUp will involve and motivate them using strategy games, simulations and logic reasoning stimulating learning of fundamental concepts. Futhermore the training used group activities like teather sketch (job interview), draft (creative CV), line debate (dressing for sucess), etc to improve coesion and self expression bettween the participants.

Outcomes of the activity

To be ready to face the actual economical situation in the work environment knowing better the decision making process, problem solving strategies and creative thinking.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I designed and executed the training, planning the activities, presentations, ice breaking, energizers and co-working tasks.

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.
