Self Discovery - Self expression - Well being - Autobiographical writing - Experiencing the challenges of the stage for amateurs.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Throughout the years, we had a several participants from different nationalities, living in Beirut that participated in our 9 months program: from France and Latvia.

Training methods used & main activities

Theater and creative personal writing. ( Boal, Forum theater, Stanislavski, Laban, Lecoq, Sherborne, Gabrielle Roth, Isabelle Filliozat, were an inspiration, we created our own method)

Outcomes of the activity

Community & Dialogue Building: Developed and facilitated a long-term theater methodology for over 1,300 participants, building a massive grassroots community dedicated to social dialogue.

Breaking Social Taboos: Created a safe, brave space on stage to openly address deeply sensitive and taboo topics within Lebanese society, including abortion, depression, cancer, domestic violence, incest, homosexuality, divorce, and suicide.

Transformative Learning: Used autobiographical and non-formal theater techniques to help participants process difficult realities, challenge societal norms, and foster deep empathy and mutual support.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Creation of the method and facilitating it for 10 years with more than 1300 participants.

I worked on this training for (9 months - 3 hours sessions once per week -) during 10 years. days as a full time trainer.
