Aims & objectives

ITtT GR2011 is a conference organised by AIESEC in GREECE that aims to prepare a new generation of trainers in two levels, to have a positive impact on the future of AIESEC members and in the training area.

We had 70 participants divided into 2 tracks - basic and advanced training track.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

We were 15 people in the organization team - 5 people in the logistical support team, all from Greece and 10 trainers from the following countries - Greece, Bulgaria, Russia, Canada, Croatia, Romania and Malaysia.

The participants were 70 people from more than 10 countries from 3 continents - South America, Europe and Asia.

Training methods used & main activities

We were using a lot of different non-formal educational methods, such as group work, individual preparation, training simulation, energizers, get to know games, skits and role-playing games.

Outcomes of the activity

The participants received know-how that was easy to implement immediately once they've returned to their home countries.
Besides that this seminar had a huge intercultural impact having in mind that we gathered people from 18 countries at one place. We also organized a global village event, in which everyone had the chance to experience international cultures.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I had the responsibility to develop my sessions that I was delivering both solo and with other trainers. I had sessions to deliver all of the days of the conference. Besides that we gathered 2 days before the start, so we could prepare better.
At the end of the seminar I was responsible for the simulation part at the track for the advanced trainers.

I worked on this training for 4 days as a full time trainer.
