Aims & objectives

The training was designed to prepare our international volunteers for the social project they were part of. Their role was to help children develop their leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
The training successfully managed to:
- introduce the volunteers to the history, mission and vision of the organisation.
- develop their presentation skills, public speaking, body language, learning methods, time management, emotional intelligence, planning and organizing of a training program.
- give valuable knowledge about entrepreneurship and leadership
- help the international volunteers to overcome the cultural shock and to build them as a team

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Volunteers, mostly students between 19 - 25 from 3 continents: Asia, Europe and Latin America.

Training methods used & main activities

Outcomes of the activity

The training was successful, because the volunteers were very well prepared for their work. We received almost 90% positive feedback from them and the children. Some children, around 35%, started working on their own social ideas.
