Aims & objectives

The project is meant to be a long term project split in different applications forms and venues according to the ongoing of the project. These are the phases (steps) of the project:
1. 1st phase: Training course in Budapest
• Training course for volunteers to train young people to become volunteers in educational projects in your local community
• Set up 1-2 training courses in your local community for young people (16-30 years old, according to the UE age scope) to get volunteers trained for educational projects.
• The young volunteers trained during the local courses will carry out a volunteering experiencie in an educational project (in your own organization) or get in touch with some other organizations that normally sets up educational projects with kids and young people and let these new volunteers to be involved in their projects.

Note: this is the phase that I worked in
only the 1st phase (Training in Hungary and the follow up in the local community Egypt)

2. 2nd phase Youth Exchange in Málaga
• 1 leader (one of those who participate in the training course in Budapest) and a selection of 6 young people among those who participate in the course to become a volunteer and volunteering in your local community. The group will take part of the youth exchange during the summer of 2013 in Málaga (Spain) to prepare different theatre and art outcomes (dealing with sexism and gender violence) to be shown in a summer camps with kids.

3. Evaluation seminar in december 2013 (venue to be set)
• Participants in the training course and some young people who may participate in the youth exchange will meet together to evaluate the whole experience and prepare a second stage of the project and new proposals.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

- 4 participants from each 6 countries (Hungary, Spain, Turkey, Egypt, Palestine, Jordan) a total of 24 participants

Training methods used & main activities

- Workshop of Living in a Perfect World (adapted from Compass) to know the role of a trainer.
- Group discussion based on anticipation and guessing method to reach the elements of evaluation

Outcomes of the activity

- 2nd phase is approved and the teams are getting ready to participate in it

I worked on this training for 7 days days as a full time trainer.
