TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Hannah Marie Schütt
The training course aims at empowering the participants to share their experience and act as multipliers for the European Youth Programmes on a peer level. At the same time, the participants become part of the international EuroPeers network, which offers many diverse opportunities for participation and networking.
The target group are young people who have been involved in ESC/E+ programmes and want to stay active in the field. In total we had 20 participants from 9 different countries.
The team consisted of two senior trainers from Austria and Germany (me) and two junior trainers from Austria and Spain.
There were different non-formal learning methods used in the training. For example we worked with open space, museum of experiences, world café and action planning.
In the end of the Training Course the participants were integrated into the EuroPeers NETWORK and knew about their possibilities for further development. They received general knowledge about the European Youth programmes and insights as well as best-practices of different projects through SHARING. EMPOWERMENT happened through learning skills such as project management, presentation techniques and storytelling. In the process of the Training Course the participants planned and implemented their own PR activity in the streets of Hannover.
Creating the training program and facilitating it. Communicating with the participants, active EuroPeers and National Agency. Supporting the Junior Trainers with their learning process. Writing the Training report and facilitating the online post-up meeting.
