The five-day international training activity, organised by iDevelop Teacher Training in Málaga, Spain, focused on Intelligent Assessment and Evaluation. It aimed to strengthen teachers’ professional knowledge and competences in assessment and evaluation and to explore approaches that could support effective teaching, learning and educational decision-making.
The programme provided opportunities for participants to reflect on assessment practices, exchange professional experiences and explore ways to apply relevant approaches in their own educational contexts. It supported the organiser’s objectives of promoting professional development, international cooperation and the exchange of educational practices across countries.
The training took place in Málaga, Spain, and brought together teachers from Italy, Romania, Germany and Poland. The international composition created opportunities for intercultural exchange, peer learning and the comparison of educational experiences and practices across different national contexts.
The activity was organised by iDevelop Teacher Training. I worked as a full-time trainer throughout the five-day programme, delivering training on Intelligent Assessment and Evaluation to the international group.
The training approach combined the presentation of key concepts with practical learning, active participation and professional reflection. The methods used included interactive explanations, facilitated discussions, practical exercises and the exploration of assessment and evaluation practices, as applicable to the sessions delivered.
Participants were encouraged to reflect on their professional experiences, exchange ideas with colleagues from other countries and consider how the learning could be applied in their own educational settings.
The training provided participants with opportunities to deepen their understanding of Intelligent Assessment and Evaluation, reflect on existing practices and explore approaches relevant to their professional responsibilities.
It also facilitated the exchange of educational experiences among teachers from four European countries and encouraged reflection on the practical application of assessment and evaluation methods.
Evidence of the activity and its outcomes may include the training programme, learning materials, participant feedback, certificates and confirmation from iDevelop Teacher Training, where available.
