The seminar focused on inclusion and diversity as a horizontal priority of the Erasmus+ programme and on exploring how inclusive values can be meaningfully integrated into Erasmus+ projects.
The main objectives were to:
- exchange national and international practices related to inclusion and diversity in education;
- explore different understandings and definitions of inclusion across European educational contexts;
- reflect on challenges related to terminology and inclusive practices;
- explore ways of addressing inclusion and diversity through Erasmus+ projects;
- strengthen networking and cooperation among education professionals committed to inclusive education;
- provide participants with practical tools and approaches for developing more inclusive Erasmus+ projects.
International group of education professionals from different European countries, primarily experienced Erasmus+ KA1 and KA2 coordinators and other professionals active in school education.
The programme combined non-formal and experiential learning with professional exchange and peer learning.
Methods included facilitated group discussions, small-group work, individual and group reflection, exchange of practices and experiences, interactive activities, networking formats, presentations of good practices, and collaborative work on developing project ideas.
Digital tools such as Padlet and Mentimeter were also used to support participation, reflection and collection of participants’ contributions.
Participants strengthened their understanding of inclusion and diversity in education and explored how these principles can be translated into concrete Erasmus+ project practices.
They exchanged approaches from different European educational systems, reflected on their own practices, explored practical tools for supporting inclusion and developed ideas for more inclusive Erasmus+ projects and future cooperation.
The activity also created space for international networking and exchange among experienced Erasmus+ practitioners.
My role: Co-trainer and facilitator, together with Petar Dukić. As a co-trainer, I was involved in the preparation and delivery of the three-day programme, including:
- designing and adapting sessions according to the aims of the seminar and participants’ needs;
- facilitating interactive learning activities and group processes;
- creating opportunities for peer learning and exchange of practices between participants from different national and educational contexts;
- facilitating reflection on inclusion, diversity and inclusive values;
- supporting participants in connecting the topic of inclusion with their existing or future Erasmus+ projects;
- supporting networking and development of ideas for future cooperation;
- contributing to reflection, evaluation and follow-up of the learning process.
Mirela was an excellent facilitator, bringing truly positive energy and enthusiasm to the process. We really appreciated how she also took care of the space, bringing creativity and playfulness into it. As a facilitator, she knows how to make participants feel comfortable and genuinely cares about their experience. I highly recommend her as a partner for organizing your event!
