Improving your quality & assessment in KA2

The training activity took place
in Mollina (Malaga), Spain
organised by Spanish National Agency & NAs from the South Youth Network
25 to 29 of September 2017

Aims & objectives

The main objective of this activity is to improve the quality of assessment by sharing common understanding in KA2 assessment, evaluating
indicators, good practices. Activity open for all the SYN countries' NA staff and evaluators.

The main objectives of this activity are:
1. To get clear concepts of the KA2 key elements.
2. To develop recommendations to improve the quality assessment.
3. To share good practices and tools.
4. To develop evaluator’s selfassessment
tools.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The activity was aimed at evaluators with previous experience in the E+ Programme. Participants had general knowledge of KA1, KA2, KA3 and had evaluated at least two projects and be part of the pool of evaluator of NAs.
Countries : Spain, France, Turkey, Cyprus, Malta, Portugal, Croatia

Training methods used & main activities

Non formal education method and peer-to-peer learning: adapted version of World Café, focus group, group discussion, photolangage ...
Workshop about team work.
Learning by experience: Primacy effect, reinforcement effect.
Realization and presentation of a survey about the KA2 across the countries of the SYN.

Outcomes of the activity

1. List of key words, concepts, ideas that lead the KA2
2. Collective (international) definition of those words, concepts, ideas.
3. Evidence about the way evaluator can assess them.
4. Evidence about what can influence the objectivity of an assessment.
5. Global data about the KA2 evaluation in the SYN.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Trainer - responsible for preparation, implementation and evaluation of workshops and activities regarding the objectives and goals of the NAs.

I worked on this training for 3 days as a full time trainer.
