TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Mary Evangelidou
The main objectives of the project were to:
1 Create an opportunity for youth where they can explore themselves, their talents and goals without judgement and daily life pressure;
2 Connect youth with their inner inspiring sources while connecting with the inspiring nature around us;
3 Share artistic tools (such as tribal makeup, theatrical activities, creative writing) and self-awareness tools (such as mindfulness and self-reflection) in order to integrate them into participants’ daily lives;
4 Encourage young people to be broad-minded, courageous and caring in their aspirations and dreams without feeling negatively about being the “black
sheep”;
5 Enhance participants’ knowledge on Erasmus+ programme;
6 Equip participants with skills and attitudes which will serve as an inspiration for them actively contributing to their communities as young citizens doing what they love without fear or hesitation.

The project ikigART – Healthy Reasons Why addressed the increasing mental health challenges faced by young people in modern, productivity driven societies. It was rooted in the idea that a healthy society depends on mentally healthy, self aware individuals, rather than on people who simply conform to unhealthy norms.
