Aims & objectives

Training course address the following needs of youth workers and young people from partner organisation:
-lack of confidence to express themselves
-lack of ways to express themselves
-lack of confidence in using digital skills
-lack of awareness how to use digital technology as a tool for self-expression
-to fill included into society

Aim of the project is:
To develop personal and professional competencies, which support self-expression of youth workers and young people.

Objectives of the project are:
To develop digital competencies as tool for self-expression
To share, exchange and create methods, which support self-expression
To develop competencies of self-expression through different means
To create video tutorials and good practice guide for youth workers with methods supporting self-expression
To develop the participants' capacity of writing high-quality Erasmus+ projects supporting self-expression

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Activity were designed for youth/social workers, volunteers and newcomers to the field of youth work, from Armenia, Finland, Italy, Greece, Netherlands, Portugal and Ukraine. Who are looking to develop digital competencies as a tool for self-expression and a capacity of writing high-quality Erasmus+ projects.

Training methods used & main activities

Activity were based on practical methods and "active learning", where we combine the elements of non-formal education with working on real tasks, making actual creating video tutorials.
Most of our sessions involve a mix of formal learning and non-formal methods, such as - games, team-buildings, visual methods, competitions, theater, drama, role-plays, group work, peer to peer learning, discussion etc.

Outcomes of the activity

Apart from knowledge, skills and attitudes gained during the training course, participants created following videos:

I was fully involved in developing of the programme of the training course as a full time trainer.

I worked on this training for 8 days as a full time trainer.
