TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Bojan Kordalov
The activity aimed to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming communication, expectations, learning processes and behaviour within youth-related sectors and international mobility ecosystems. The training addressed the growing need for youth organisations, international networks and communication professionals to better understand the societal and practical implications of AI tools, digital transformation and emerging technologies. The sessions supported the organisers’ broader objectives related to innovation, international youth cooperation, future-oriented communication approaches and responsible integration of AI into organisational and educational environments.
The activity gathered 150+ participants, experts and representatives from international au pair, youth organisations, mobility networks, educational initiatives and communication-related fields connected to the WYSE Travel Confederation and the International Au Pair Association (IAPA). Participants came from different European and international backgrounds (North and South America, Asia, Australia), contributing to intercultural exchange and peer-learning discussions on AI, communication and the future of youth engagement in international contexts.
The activity used non-formal and participatory learning approaches combining interactive presentations, facilitated discussions, practical AI demonstrations, group reflection exercises, case studies and peer-learning methods. Participants explored real-life examples related to AI tools, digital communication, behavioural change and youth engagement. The sessions encouraged active dialogue, collaborative learning and exchange of experiences between participants from different sectors and countries.
The activity increased participants’ awareness of the opportunities and challenges related to AI-driven communication and behavioural change within youth and international mobility contexts. Participants gained practical insights into responsible and effective use of AI tools, digital communication trends and future-oriented engagement approaches. The strong level of interaction, participant feedback and follow-up discussions demonstrated high relevance of the topic for organisations working with young people, international education and mobility programmes.
Worked as a full-time trainer and keynote contributor responsible for the design and delivery of interactive sessions related to AI, communication, digital transformation and behavioural change. Facilitated discussions, practical exercises and peer-learning activities focused on the impact of AI on youth engagement, international communication and organisational adaptation. Contributed to the overall learning environment by connecting policy, communication and digital transformation perspectives with practical challenges faced by international youth and mobility organisations.
Bojan Kordalov delivered several sessions during our annual conference in Sofia and attended the full conference, allowing our members to also speak with him directly. Participants gave very positive feedback on the sessions, which he had tailored specifically to our needs and the work we do in cultural and youth exchange. In fact, we are already planning an additional online session with him for members who could not attend the conference, as we found his approach very clear, practical, and hands-on. Participants left with concrete ideas and clear guidance on what they could improve or change regarding their websites, communications, and the way young people engage with AI today.
We are happy to recommend Bojan Kordalov to anyone interested in the topic and looking for a practical perspective on AI that is open-minded while also taking into account the implications and ethical aspects involved, particularly in relation to young people and international cultural exchange.
