The main aim of Hop On - The Train to Trainings was to equip youth workers with skills and methods needed to facilitate workshops, trainings, camps, daily work with youth and youth workers as well as encourage them to be flexible in the process of activity, assessing the needs of the group they are working with and connect with them, through that rising quality of participants work back home in their sending organizations.
There were 25 participants coming from 7 countries, all trainers-to-be, ready to take their first steps towards creating their own projects.
• Understanding of a group that a facilitator is working with and leading (facilitating) group/ individual learning processes.
• Planning and implementing programs for non-formal education activities (workshops, trainings etc.)
• Holding meaningful conversations with groups and individuals directed to learning. (Briefings, giving context, debriefing etc.)
• Improvement of team work skills and leading a team. (working in large teams, small teams and pairs)
• Organizing one’s own learning.
