in Nyíregyháza, Hungary
organised by HUMAN-NET Foundation
26.10.-01.11.-2014.

Aims & objectives

In an ideal world we can places young people in a position where they are responsible for their lives, their future, and their behaviour. In the idealistic theory we can find the excellent way of increasing the motivation of young people to feel more attached and therefore more supportive of their communities.

To develop a common understanding about the active participation of young people is a hard issue nowadays. This is what we would like to reach as close as we can. We offer time and space to share our experiences, to learn new methods and look around what can we do in the future together. We show a new contacting opportunity between the youth workers, expert and the youngsters to plan and prepare the communication.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

24 participants from program and EECA countries. Azerbaijan, Russian Federation, Italy, Poland, Romania, Hungary.

Training methods used & main activities

With a flexible style of facilitation we can demonstrate the participants to provide opportunities and space for youngsters in their road. We give the floor to show and share good practices. We believe it is not an option in the future of the youth work and democracy education but the only way to follow the changes. We were explore instruments for its promotion among groups of young people in civil society and youth activities at local and regional level.

Outcomes of the activity

As we see inside the facilitation the methods are the highways which lead us together to the objectives. They give the aid to the facilitator in helping the participants understand the learning and developing aims. We are plan, it will be a nice and calm program but not one where the participants can sit back and relax. We will use active methods, based on non-formal learning in combination with practical theory. This means that you will work in workshops, with worm upping exercises and case studies, exchange the experiences you have in day to day work and work on concrete future cooperation plans.
