Heal the World – Youth Initiative Hatchery

The training activity took place
in Helsinki, Finland
organised by Finnish and Estonian NAs
8-10 March 2013

Aims & objectives

The aim of the training course was to introduce the possibilities of international youth initiatives to young people who are interested in the topic of health, also to provide tools to design a good international youth initiative and to promote cooperation between Finnish and Estonian participants.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Trainers: 1 from Estonia, 1 from Finalnd
Paricipants: 20 people, also from Estonia and Finland.

Training methods used & main activities

The whole training was built on the principles of non-formal learning, focusing on helping the participants to discover the subject on their on and reflect on their experiences.

Outcomes of the activity

Participants learned about the international youth initiatives and drafted their own projects, that were related to the topic of healthy lifestyle. In addition to that possible future partnerships were formed.
